Best Paper Award

VisCG received the Best Full Paper Award at the 16th ACM Symposium on Virtual Reality Software and Technology VRST 2009 which was held in Kyoto, Japan. Dr. Frank Steinicke presented the paper entitled "Judgment of Natural Perspective Projections in Head-Mounted Display Environments". The work has been co-authored by Gerd Bruder and Klaus Hinrichs from VisCG, Markus Lappe from the psychology department, Scott Kuhl from Michigan Technological University and Pete Willemsen from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. The work is part of the LOCUI project funded by the German Research Foundation.
